Our Statement of Faith

We believe that the Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21).

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit who are co-equal and co-eternal (Genesis 1:1,26; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).

We believe in the deity of Christ (John 1:1,14), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11; 20:30); His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for anyone to know God (John 6:44,65) and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace and through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; 5:24; Romans 3:23; 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).

We believe that Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. As a result, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected--they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation (Luke 24:16,36,39; John 2:19-21; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:42,44).

We believe that heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:3,12,20; 6:20; 19:21; 25:34; John 17:24; 2 Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; 1 Peter 1:4).

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18).

Haircuts for Little Men
by Nancy Baetz

"I haven’t always journaled. Recording my life stories is a relatively new habit that I have formed in the last nine years. A friend gave me a journal after the birth and death of our fourth child, Nicholas. She encouraged me to write about my experience, and although I didn’t pick that journal up right away, I gradually began to fill the pages with words about my son and the birth of his little sister, Anna. Writing in a journal was a new experience and very comforting."

 Our Testimony

In 1998, the Lord began a dramatic transformation in our hearts through the birth and death of our fourth child, Nicholas, who was born with the genetic syndrome called Trisomy 13. God's ways are not our ways and although we would not choose to go through this trial again, we praise God for the changes He has brought about in our family since the loss of Nicholas. We have been writing together now for over eight years, and have seen family relationships strengthened through recording our life stories as they happen. It is our hope that your family will be blessed through this ministry.
